Founded in 2007, OC Cinema seeks to document and celebrate the rich history of Orange County cinema. The website provides profiles and photos (when available) of all known cinema venues that have operated in the county since 1900. OC Cinema also maintains a blog, via CINELOG, which supplements the archive with anecdotes, news, and personal reflections. An open ended project, the website will constantly be updated and expanded. We hope you will come back often and feel free to add your own input, via email.

Christopher Crouch

Christopher has made a career of theatre operations (although, he often views his time in the industry as more of an excursion), having worked in venues ranging from twin plex to mega plex, independent to “big three,” dollar house to high end, and everything in between. In addition to being an amatuer theatre/film/industry historian, Christopher holds a Bachelor’s Degree in History from Texas Tech University.
